Virasaat, meaning "heirloom," is the concept that inspired this project. Drawing from the cherished sarees passed down to me by my mother and grandmother, I created a reversible Indo-Western outfit that beautifully blends tradition with modernity. Crafted during the challenging times of COVID, this project emphasized the importance of sustainability and making the most of existing resources. By repurposing these heirloom sarees, I aimed to create a meaningful and versatile garment that honors the past while embracing the present.
